Erin Krembs "Arcturus"
wool/felt/glass/clay
Erin is a multimedia artist who focuses on a wide range of materials and methods to create fantastical works inspired by nature. Fantasy has always been a big element in Erin’s body of work. The unicorn in particular is such a well known symbol in mythology and can be anything the viewer can imagine it to be. The ability to play pretend and go back to childhood is something intrinsically tied to the unicorn and something Erin feels strongly about as all should be able to find joy and playfulness in a world of adult responsibilities. Erin’s mission with their work is to inspire others' playful side and remind the audience that taking a moment to pretend now and then is good.
