Mark Seekins

Mark loves nothing more than creating and leaving prints; hence the name “prints on the trail”. He learned printmaking as a kid and even created a couple prints in Junior High and High School art class...but picked it back up in earnest during the Pandemic. He works from a block and hand carve, then press, and pull each print by hand. Much of his work are scenes from the trails he’s hiked or places he’s been. Many of his linocut prints are hanging in the gallery until mid-February.

Most recently, he and Tim Greene (both Sisters’ locals) created the book cover art for the new Games of Thrones 5 book box release. The originals are hanging in Flying Horse Gallery and are for sale for a limited time.
